CUSTOMER CODE OF CONDUCT 

Garden of Eden’s (“GOE”) commitment to excellence in our customer experience is not only a guideline for how our staff treats customers, but also how customers are expected to treat our staff and other patrons. The GOE Code of Conduct ensures the health and safety of our valued and trusted staff and customers. GOE reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who is not acting in compliance.  Any customer failing or refusing to abide by this Code of Conduct will be asked to leave the premises and depending on the severity of the issue permanently banned from all Garden of Eden locations.  

Rules & Responsibilities 

I. General 

    1. GOE has a ZERO tolerance harassment policy. Any customers that are engaging in inappropriate behavior on store premises including sexual harassment, lewd behavior, or using inflammatory language towards GOE staff or other customers will be asked to leave and may be permanently banned. This also includes the use of inflammatory language through digital channels directed towards our staff or other customers.

    2. No shirt, no shoes, no service.  No hoods shall be worn while in the dispensary. 

    3. All large bags and backpacks must be left at the front desk with Security.

    4. No cell phone use while at registers. 

    5. No weapons of any kind are allowed on store premises.

    6. The consumption of cannabis in or around the dispensary including on the street, in parking areas or parked cars near the dispensary is strictly prohibited.  

    7. No Reselling - GOE sells recreational cannabis for personal adult use ONLY. Any reselling of cannabis purchased from GOE is strictly prohibited. If you are caught reselling any products purchased from GOE you will be permanently banned.

    8. ID Check and Verification - All customers are required to check-in with our intake staff each and every time you enter the dispensary. All customers, regardless of age, are required to show a valid government issued photo ID.

    9. ID and online orders must have the same name for pick up. 

    10. No parking on Foothill between 7am-9am and 4pm-6pm

    11. No parking in adjacent lots. Please park on Foothill, Apple, Locust or Ash Street.

II. COVID

We are doing our best to provide a service to our customers during these unprecedented times.  Our COVID-related enhanced policies are for everyone’s protection. The requirements to wear a mask and engage in social distancing are required by the County and the State. It is critical that as a customer you treat our staff and other customers with politeness and respect.

    1. Mask Etiquette - Customers and staff must wear a mask or other face covering at all times while inside the dispensary.  

    2. Enhanced ID Verification Procedures - All customers are required to present their ID for inspection prior to gaining access to the dispensary. You will also be asked to momentarily remove your facemask so that we can verify your identity.

    3. Social Distancing  - Customers must adhere to Eden’s social distance policy, and respect all instructive signage and staff instructions. No gathering in large groups.  A distance of no less than 6-feet should be maintained in between customers not within the same party and staff.
